Get Me Out Of Here

Well this is weird

So here I am sat in our {expensive yet ordinary} room at the Premier Inn, Derby.

Alone. All Alone, sniff…

Dave’s had to go back to the marina overnight, so he can drive TT into the dry dock boathouse FIRST LIGHT tomorrow morning, and make sure everything’s ok.

Looks like he might have to take down the lux con too, and with the state the wood’s in at the moment it’ll probably be no easy job. We’re still waiting for the all new wooden sections to be fitted. It’s in the process of being built, not a quick job because it has to be a perfect fit for the canvas of the lux con to match up to. (The price isn’t perfect but never mind).

Well I have to say this must be one of the prettiest, smallest, Premier Inn’s I’ve ever seen. It’s a converted stables in the middle of nowhere! {No further comments required} after my post the other day they might not let me Inn in again…

I kid ye not, we’re right next door to a field full of cows, now I don’t mind cows as long as they’re not running about. Thankfully there’s a fence between us, don’t think I’ve ever slept so close to a herd of them before…

After we’d unpacked my mobile wardrobe, we had a meal here at the local pub. Then kissed and said goodbye till tomorrow…

Could make another film out of this, “Forbidden romance amidst the rolling hills.” This place really is out in the sticks. Will take some photos when my phone’s charged up, flat as a pancake it was when we got here. Sadly, we’ve got a view of the car park which figures…

As for the boat, well it’s just not happening fast enough for me at the moment, but these things can’t be rushed…

Patience is a virtue? Stuff that… Ten weeks time and we’ll be back home in Spain…

Got to go, texts and Farcebook beckon.

So Night Night, sleep tight, mind the bed bugs don’t bite and all that…
